3 Charitable athletes

Read the text about famous athletes who donate their money to help others.

Christiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro is one of the biggest footballers of all time but also one with the biggest heart. He helps building schools and regularly donates money to charities that take care of ill children but also to Red Cross and he doesn't have any tattoos so he can more often donate blood. He's an ambassador for three major charities, Save the Children, Unicef and World Vision.
Kristi Yamaguchi, an American ice-skater, is a founder of Always Dream Foundation. The foundation gives money to after school programmes that help children to improve their reading and literary skills. The organisation also provides supplies and help to poor children and summer camps for kids with disabilities. Always Dream also partners with Raising a Reader to use technology.
LeBron James, one of the most generous NBA stars, leads The LeBron James Family Foundation. He helps children in his hometown Akron with "Wheels For Education” raising money to keep kids in school and encourage them to graduate. They help children with reading and maths. He also supports The Children’s Defence Fund. Its purpose is to be a voice for children’s rights and make sure that all children are treated equally and fairly.
