The capital city of the United Kingdom is London. London is situated on the river Thames. The best known bridge on the Thames is Tower Bridge.

Some of the top sights are Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London and London Eye.

At Madame Tussauds you can take a photo with wax statues of famous people and at the Tower of London you can see the crown jewels.

If you decide to go on a ride on London Eye, you will see London from the height of 135 m.

Washington DC, the capital of the USA, lies on the Potomac River. Most famous places there are the Capitol Building and White House, the president's home.

However, the most popular city in the USA and in the world is New York. There are so many tourist attractions there like Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Central Park or Empire State Building.

The Statue of Liberty is on Liberty Island where you can learn about the history of the statue.

If you want to celebrate New Year in New York, the right place for you is Times Square where everybody sings a traditional song Auld Lang Syne.
