6 Watch and select

How much do you know about organizations that protect the environment? Watch the video and select true or false.

Greenpeace is a charity organization. They are trying to save many places on our planet from pollution.

Let’s start with rainforests. They are home to 20 million people and many animals. Sadly, people are cutting down trees and destroying the rainforests. Greenpeace is fighting against this destruction. And, yes. Don’t forget the oxygen we get from the trees. Let's move on to the Arctic with it’s ice and beautiful polar bears. What’s the problem there? Well, the oil drilling of big companies. Greenpeace is trying to stop those big companies to save both the polar ice and the animals.

They are trying to protect the oceans, too. 12.7 million tonnes of plastic end up in our oceans every year. Plastic is dangerous because it kills animals who eat it and it pollutes the water. Greenpeace wants big companies to use less plastic. Do you like the idea? Start being eco friendly and join forces with Greenpeace!
