Mystery Skype

Mystery Skype is an educational game that connects two classrooms from different parts of the world. The teachers know where (and who) they’re calling but students don't. The goal of Mystery Skype is to locate the other class geographically by asking Yes/No questions (i.e., Are you east of the Mississippi River?). This type of experience gets all students engaged and geographically proficient! It's a fun way to learn about other cultures and it enhances students' critical thinking and communication skills.

2 What do you do?

Read a text about a Mystery Skype call between a class of Croatian students and their virtual guest. Put the missing information from the dropdown menu into the text.
